6. Combine with a contrast linker (although / whereas / but)
Join the two ideas into ONE natural sentence.

4. Join with a relative clause (who / that)
Combine the two sentences into one, using 'who' for people and 'that' for things.
- Beatriz is my sister. She calls me first about everything.

- He's my cousin. He grew up on the same street as me.

7. Listening — 'The one I call first'
Three people describe the person they call first when something big happens. Listen for who the person is, one small habit, and one honest reason.

8. Writing — A short family portrait
Write 80–100 words about ONE person in your family (or someone you consider family). Include: (a) name + relationship, (b) at least ONE possessive 's or possessive pronoun, (c) at least ONE relative clause with 'who' or 'that', and (d) ONE contrast linker (although / whereas / but). End with a single honest sentence about why this person matters to you.
