Lesson goals

  • Talk about your family and close friends with a wider vocabulary than 'brother / sister'.
  • Use the possessive 's, possessive pronouns (mine / yours / hers / ours / theirs) and short relative clauses (the aunt who…, the cousin that…).
  • Write a 70–90 word portrait of ONE person in your family, with at least one relative clause and one contrast (although / but).
