4. Find and fix the mistake
Each sentence has ONE typical 1st-conditional mistake. Rewrite it.

5. If, unless, when or as soon as?
Join each pair of ideas into ONE natural sentence using if, unless, when or as soon as. Sometimes more than one linker works — pick the most natural.

6. Listening — Plan A, plan B
Two friends, Marta and Kai, quickly agree on a plan for tomorrow and a backup plan if the weather changes.

7. Writing — My weekend: plan A and plan B (100–120 words)
Write 100–120 words about your next weekend. Include: (a) at least ONE clear plan A with 'If … , I'll …', (b) a plan B with 'If … , I'll …' for a different weather / mood / people scenario, (c) at least ONE sentence with 'unless', (d) at least ONE sentence with 'as soon as' or 'when', and (e) a final sentence with 'either way' saying what you'll definitely do no matter what.

8. Reflection (discursive)
Answer each question in 2 full sentences. Be honest — this is about how you actually behave.
- When plans change at the last minute (bad weather, a friend cancelling, work running late), what do you usually do — do you have a real 'plan B' in your head, or do you improvise? Give one specific example from the last month.
- Think of ONE 1st-conditional promise you can actually make to yourself this week. Write it as a full sentence ('If … , I'll …') and explain WHY that 'if' is realistic for you right now.
