Rules & form
- ›If + present simple, will / won't + base verb.
- ›Either clause can come first (comma only when if comes first).
- ›Also with may, might, can, should in the result.
- ›unless = if not.
Examples
- “If it's sunny, we'll go to the beach.”
- “They won't sign unless we drop the price.”
- “If we sign today, I can offer a 10% discount.”
Watch out · Never will after if: If it will rain ✗ → If it rains ✓.
