- ›Use the auxiliary alone to avoid repeating: I haven't finished but she has.
- ›Echo questions and tags: You've met her, haven't you? Really? Have you?
- ›so / neither + auxiliary + subject: So do I. Neither have we.
- ›the + comparative, the + comparative: The bigger the order, the lower the price.
Examples
- “I don't agree — do you?”
- “She likes remote work and so do I.”
- “The sooner we decide, the cheaper it gets.”
Watch out · In so do I / neither do I the subject comes last.
