Rules & form
- ›say (+ that): He said the price was too high.
- ›tell + person (+ that): She told me they needed it by Friday.
- ›offer + to-infinitive: They offered to give us a 10% discount.
- ›agree + to-infinitive / agree + that: We agreed to sign next week.
Examples
- “The client said they were happy with the proposal.”
- “He told the team that the deadline had moved.”
- “They offered to waive the setup fee if we signed today.”
