- ›love > like > don't mind > don't like > hate.
- ›After these verbs use the -ing form: I love cooking.
- ›Questions: Do you like running? Short answer: Yes, I do.
- ›You can also use a noun: I like football.
Examples
- “I love travelling but I hate packing.”
- “She doesn't mind working late on Fridays.”
- “Do you like studying in the morning? Not really.”
Watch out · Don't use the infinitive after hate/love in this pattern at A1: I love to cooking ✗.
